Welcome to LeNeuf, a classy Belle Époque building on Torstrasse! Dating back to 1900, the building complex is centrally located in Mitte, a popular and trendy borough of Berlin. The historic façade with its mostly preserved original period elements and with its restored arched window casings and wooden double-cased windows is quite the eye catcher. The complex consists of a front building with five commercial units, two side buildings and two back buildings, accessed via six separate entranceways and two inner courtyards. The flats of 1 to 3 bedrooms are particularly spacious and bright in character because of their ceiling heights of up to 3.70 metres and their large divided windows. The period building charm is highlighted by the mostly preserved and overhauled wooden floors, which take the form of panel parquetry, fishbone parquetry or board flooring. Most of the apartments come with balcony or a brightly day-lit oriel each. Electrical installations were replaced, and LED ceiling spotlights installed in bathroom, hallway and kitchen. The plaster-finished walls complete the picture of the refurbished flat. Existing plaster ornaments were repaired and restored to erstwhile splendour. The bathroom was freshly tiled and decorated with modern sanitary fixtures and fittings. In conjunction with extensive refurbishment works, the residential complex is being expanded by nine new attic flats, while lifts will also be installed.
