Unter den Eichen 114 is a classic residential and commercial building, which was built in 1911 in the typical Berlin old building style. The corner building radiates manorial Wilhelminian style charm with hinted columns, stucco elements and its round-arched windows with small bars on the first floor. Marble wall coverings and stucco ceilings in contrasting colours create a stylish reception in the stairwell. In front of the apartment on the mezzanine floor, the wooden coffered door with cathedral glass inserts and matching carvings in the door frame continue this impression. The completely renovated apartment with a total area of 65.27 square metres has two generously proportioned rooms. In the rooms, the original wooden floorboards were refurbished and new matching floorboards were laid in the hallway, which, together with the spatulated white walls, gives the rooms a timeless and homely atmosphere. In combination with the ceiling spots installed in the kitchen, bathroom and corridor, this creates a bright and friendly overall impression. The white wooden doors with cassettes and glass inserts as well as the classic double box windows underline the old building character of the apartment. An exciting contrast to this is the freshly renovated bathroom, which has been fitted out with large-format, grey marbled tiles and white walls and features a floor-level shower with a shower cubicle made of clear glass and modern sanitary facilities. There is also space for a washing machine. In the open kitchen area, large-format floor tiles have also been laid, which are discreetly integrated in terms of colour. Sunny hours can be spent on the south-facing loggia. In the entire apartment the electrical system was newly installed and rounded off with a tasteful switch and socket program also optically. The hot water supply and heating is guaranteed centrally via a district heating connection.
In the green southwest of Berlin lies the district of Lichterfelde in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. Magnificent villa districts, classic old buildings and tree-lined streets characterise the cityscape here. Numerous research institutions as well as the Free University of Berlin and its various institutes are located in neighboring Dahlem. As a result, the demand for living space is particularly high here, among others, from academics and well-off people. The district of Zehlendorf also scores in terms of recreational value. Many attractive green spaces and lakes in the surrounding area as well as the botanical garden less than 100 meters away from the property invite to relaxing walks or sports activities. In the immediate vicinity, everything is available that is necessary for daily care. Extensive shopping tours are possible in the centre of Steglitz, which is only a few minutes' drive away - the main shopping mile Schloßstraße alone has four shopping centres and in addition a diverse selection of small specialist shops, boutiques and more. You can relax and recharge your batteries or simply let your soul dangle in one of the many cafés and restaurants that offer something for every taste. Lichterfelde also has excellent transport connections. The connection to the A103, which leads to the central city motorway A100, is only a few minutes away. The M48 bus line stops in front of the house on Asternplatz and runs from the outer Zehlendorf to Mitte. The Botanischer Garten S-Bahn station is only about 3 minutes' walk away. From there the S1 goes south to Wannsee and north across the city centre to Oranienburg. ACCENTRO App for iOS https://apple.co/1LJVMpq and for Android https://bit.ly/1L0jFbp
