Lage

A revitalization effort following the turn of the millennium has led to the creation of four shopping centers featuring high standards and a modern selection of stores. In addition, the side streets are home to a wide variety of retail shops and a rich array of dining options.

It is not only the dense concentration of businesses that ensures a high quality of life in this southwestern district, but also its harmonious and well-maintained overall appearance and its diverse cultural life.
Although the proportion of native Berliners in Steglitz is comparatively high, more and more newcomers to Berlin are drawn here, largely due to its proximity to Freie Universität and the Benjamin Franklin Clinic Campus.
