We hereby give notice, pursuant to Section 21(1), first sentence, of the WpHG, that on April 3, 2007, AMVESCAP PLC’s voting interest in ESTAVIS AG exceeded the 3% threshold and amounted to 3.04% (235,093 voting rights) on that date.
All of these voting rights (235,093 shares) are attributable to AMVESCAP PLC, in accordance with Section 22(1), sentence 1, no. 6 of the WpHG in conjunction with sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG. All of AMVESCAP’s subsidiaries hold the shares on behalf of their investment funds. None of the subsidiaries exceeds the 3% threshold on a stand-alone basis.
