The economic transfer (transfer of benefits and obligations)—the point at which you become entitled to rental income and assume the costs—typically takes place shortly after the purchase price has been paid in full. The legal transfer of ownership is not finalized until the final entry is made in the land registry, which can take several months. We’ll keep an eye on both steps for you.
