ACCENTRO Continues Its Nationwide Expansion

Berlin, April 3, 2017 – ACCENTRO Real Estate AG (WKN: A0KFKB, ISIN: DE000A0KFKB3), Berlin, is continuing its expansion in Germany as planned. The company has acquired 333 residential units in Leipzig at an attractive purchase price: The price per square meter is 665 euros, and the gross initial yield is approximately 7.5 percent. “Leipzig is one of the fastest-growing cities—outpacing Berlin, for example. In addition, the city has been among Germany’s top ten for years in terms of the number of condominiums sold annually,” says Jacopo Mingazzini, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG. With the acquisition of this portfolio, ACCENTRO is also opening a privatization office in the city.

With the purchase of this portfolio, ACCENTRO AG acquired a total of 470 residential units in the first quarter of 2017. In addition to the Leipzig units, 137 apartments were purchased in the Berlin metropolitan area, including 97 in Friedrichshain, Schöneberg, Wedding, and Treptow, as well as 40 units in Strausberg (in the Berlin suburbs). The Leipzig apartments are located in the southern part of the city in Böhlen, Zwenkau, and Markkleeberg and cover an area of approximately 19,000 square meters. Throughout the 2016 fiscal year, the company acquired 1,765 residential units for privatization. ACCENTRO focuses on the trading of residential real estate and is Germany’s first publicly traded residential privatization company that concentrates on the sale of condominiums to a broad cross-section of the population.
