Berlin, January 22, 2018 – ACCENTRO Real EstateAG (WKN: A0KFKB, ISIN: DE000A0KFKB3), Berlin, is selling 75 percent of the shares in ACCENTRO Gehrensee GmbH. The latter owns a property of approximately 41,500 square meters in Berlin’s Lichtenberg district. The buyer of the shares is a Berlin-based project developer who already has extensive experience with new construction projects, particularly in this district.
“With this move, we are continuing to implement our proven strategy in the new-construction sector by placing greater emphasis on collaborating with project developers who possess a high level of technical expertise,” explains Jacopo Mingazzini, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG. “This allows us to leverage our sales strength in the new-construction sector as well, without significantly altering the company’s risk structure,” adds Mingazzini. “We are investing the liquidity freed up by the partial sale of the project company into our core business—tenant-oriented privatization,” Mingazzini concludes.
