Sales volume grows by 155 percent to more than 116 million EUR

Privatization of 360 residential units more than doubled
Berlin, August 4, 2021 – ACCENTRO Real EstateAG, a residential real estate investor and Germany’s leading residential privatization company, looks back on an extremely successful first half of 2021 in residential privatization. In the first six months, 360 units were sold to tenants, owner-occupiers, and private investors. The notarized sales volume amounted to EUR 116.3 million, significantly exceeding the prior-year figure by 154.7% (prior year: EUR 45.6 million). The number of units sold also increased significantly year-over-year by 122.2% (prior year: 162 units).
Lars Schriewer, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG, commented: “ACCENTRO has demonstrated outstanding business performance in the first six months of 2021. Demand for home ownership remains strong and has led to a further significant increase in sales momentum in the second quarter.” From April through June, the number of units sold rose by 234.3% compared to the same period last year, while the notarized sales volume increased by 227.0%.
ACCENTRO is looking ahead to the second half of the year with great confidence and expects demand for apartments to remain high. The company has a solid balance sheet structure and sufficient liquidity—key prerequisites and competitive advantages that will enable it to expand its real estate portfolio in the coming months. Lars Schriewer is therefore also confident about the second half of the year: “We want to significantly expand our privatization and rental portfolios. We see numerous attractive opportunities for this in our target markets.” Just a few weeks ago, ACCENTRO acquired a portfolio of 150 units in North Rhine-Westphalia, thereby strengthening its market position in key metropolitan areas.
ACCENTRO will publish its financial results reflecting the strong business performance in the first half of 2021 on August 31, 2021.
