Berlin, January 18, 2022 – ACCENTRO Real Estate AG, a residential real estate investor and Germany’s leading residential privatization company, looks back on an extremely successful 2021 in the area of individual apartment privatization. The notarized sales volume reached a new record high: It more than doubled, rising by 107.7% to EUR 246.5 million (previous year: EUR 118.7 million). The number of units sold showed similarly dynamic growth, increasing by 81.2% to 761 units (previous year: 420 units). Approximately 60% of the units were purchased by institutional investors, underscoring the continued high appeal of German residential real estate.
