Berlin, November 19, 2021 – ACCENTRO Real Estate AG (“ACCENTRO”), a residential real estate investor and Germany’s leading residential privatization company, has successfully completed a transaction involving a total of approximately 730 units. The transaction includes the purchase and sale of several residential portfolios. Among other things, ACCENTRO is acquiring approximately 470 units in eastern Germany for its own rental portfolio. The integrated transaction with a private investor has a volume of approximately 100 million euros. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase prices of the various portfolios. The transfer of ownership of the real estate portfolios is scheduled to take place before the end of this year.
At the same time, the Group confirms its forecast for the current fiscal year 2021: According to this forecast, revenue is expected to rise by up to approximately 60% to between 170 and 200 million euros (previous year: 125.2 million euros), and EBIT by up to approximately 44% to between 45 and 50 million euros (previous year: 34.8 million euros).

And on the other hand, we were once again able to sell residential portfolios. This is proof that investor interest in the German residential real estate asset class remains strong.”
With this acquisition, ACCENTRO has once again significantly expanded its real estate portfolio in eastern Germany. The acquired portfolio is located in the state of Saxony and offers good transportation links to the cities of Zwickau, Plauen, and Hof. The units comprise a leasable area of approximately 27,000 square meters and offer considerable potential for value appreciation, which is expected to be realized in the coming years.
Over the past 12 months, ACCENTRO has massively expanded its own Germany-wide rental portfolio to approximately 3,600 units. The focus has been on selected locations in eastern Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia. Lars Schriewer explains: “In addition to our successful privatization business, we are pursuing the goal of dynamically expanding our own rental portfolio, primarily in attractive B and C locations. We see above-average potential, particularly in such locations. With this strategic direction, we are not only securing steadily rising rental income for the company; we are also creating the perfect balance with our sales operations.”
