Berlin, September 6, 2024 – Following up on the announcement made in mid-August 2024, ACCENTRO has succeeded in securing additional financing from a portion of its bondholders (the “financing bondholders”) through the issuance of a secured bond by a subsidiary. Following constructive negotiations, the financing bondholders have now subscribed to the first tranche of the secured bond issued by ACCENTRO 2. Wohneigentum GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACCENTRO, in the amount of EUR 9.8 million. ACCENTRO will use the proceeds from the first tranche primarily to make the August 2024 interest payment on the 2020/2026 bond. The payment is currently scheduled for September 10, 2024.
In addition, ACCENTRO is currently engaged in advanced, constructive negotiations with the financing bondholders regarding the subscription of two further tranches totaling EUR 9.4 million. ACCENTRO expects to sign the corresponding loan commitments in the coming days. These are subject to conditions precedent, which ACCENTRO is currently working to fulfill. At the same time, negotiations with the bondholders regarding a comprehensive restructuring are continuing.
