50 Percent of Residential Units Already Sold
Berlin, October 15, 2021 – ACCENTRO Real EstateAG, a residential real estate investor and Germany’s leading residential privatization company, has already secured notarized purchase agreements or reservations for approximately 50 percent of the available condominiums in Berlin’s historic landmark, Riehmers Hofgarten.
“Sales of the units at Riehmers Hofgarten are going very well. Kreuzberg’s international reputation in the cultural scene and the special charm of this unique residential complex are attracting many prospective buyers, especially from Berlin—and interest in purchasing is also high among the tenants,” explains Lars Schriewer, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG. “We have awakened a unique complex from its slumber. In addition to owner-occupiers, who are sure to find beautiful, charming apartments here, both the residential and commercial units are ideal for investment.”
The various apartments in the historic buildings and commercial units, as well as the complex’s exclusive new-construction penthouses, range in size up to 300 square meters and feature two to nine rooms. All of the renovated apartments—most of which are accessible by elevator—offer generous ceiling heights and high-quality bathrooms. The penthouse apartments also feature rooftop terraces with views over the rooftops of Berlin. Starting early next year, the attic apartments are also scheduled to go on the market.
In close coordination with the historic preservation office, not only are some of the apartments being renovated, but the stairwells and entryways are also being refurbished with an eye for detail. For example, historic frescoes have been uncovered. The outdoor facilities, including the playground, are also being renovated and expanded. Among other things, bicycle and stroller parking spaces will be provided in addition to the existing underground parking spaces for cars.
