The residential building at Jenaer Straße 25/26 is a modern construction dating from 1956, which stands out with its balconies belonging to each apartment. Although the apartment building is located in Jenaer Straße, it can be reached via the entrance of the adjacent building in Günzelstraße 66. In 2018 the attic apartment was extended, which is characterized by timeless elegance. White plastered walls, white doors and large, partly floor-to-ceiling windows give the apartment a light and spacious character. Floorboards in a warm oak colour were installed, which radiate a natural atmosphere. The daylight bathrooms and the kitchen have been fitted with wall and floor tiles in timeless light grey. On about 138 square meters there is a kitchen-living room and three separate rooms. In addition to a bath and a shower, the apartment has a storage room. A large terrace extends over the entire width of the apartment and is accessible from the living room and two rooms. Special comfort is provided by electrically operated windows and electrically operated external heat protection blinds. The apartment is accessible via an elevator.
The Bayerisches Viertel - a district in the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf - has attracted a financially strong clientele for decades. At the beginning of the 20th century, the district was specially designed for a middle-class and financially strong population. Generous and stylish residential buildings with elegant façade elements were designed and even a subway line was built. Today, as then, the residents are made up of upper middle class, artists and intellectuals. So it is not surprising that a special neighborhood has emerged. Small bookstores, cafés, workshops or owner-managed bakeries as well as upscale restaurants ensure an appealing mix of the commercial landscape. In addition, a dense retail network supplies residents with goods for their daily needs. The Kurfürstendamm with the KaDeWe - the shopping and gourmet paradise in the City West - is only two underground stations away. The Volkspark Schöneberg-Wilmersdorf with its own underground station is an oasis in the city's hustle and bustle. The 2.5-kilometer-long park connects the two districts and is a retreat with dense trees, sunbathing lawns, leisure areas and jogging routes. Cultural offerings can be found above all in the charming side streets around Viktoria-Luise-Platz and Bayerischer Platz. During an evening stroll it is not uncommon to come across sofa concerts, readings or discussions and to become part of the cultural life in the Bayerisches Viertel. To this day, apartments in the Bayerische Viertel are in great demand, whether among Berliners or New Berliners. Neighbourly cooperation, a lot of greenery and a dignified residential area with an optimal connection to the city centre ensure a sustained high demand and will continue to be a guarantor for a quarter worth living in in the future.
